Happy to be a Mom!

I love this thought from President David O. McKay

"She, who can paint a masterpiece or write a book that will influence millions -- deserves the admiration and the plaudits of man. But she who rears a family of beautiful sons and daughters, whose influence will be felt through generations to come, long after paintings have faded, and books have been destroyed she deserves the highest honor that man can give, and the choicest blessings of God. In her high duty and service to humanity, she is co-partner with the Creator himself."

Our Little Guy

So Spencer is kind of a little guy, at 10 weeks he weighed 12lbs 3 oz, 60% In weight- whoo hoo. By 16 weeks and acid reflux later he was only at 12 lbs 5 oz, 28%, and then after a week of the stomach flu he was at 10%.

So needless to say we have been trying hard to feed him lots and lots, (he is actually a great eater) and try to beef him up. So of course it did not help when he got the stomach flu again over New Years and then after only a week of feeling better got a bad cold for two weeks.

So two weeks ago 8 months (beginning of cold) he weighed 15 lbs 5 oz (notice only 3 lbs since he was 2 1/2 months old-scary i know), he completly fell off the weight chart. there was no percent for him.

We have been in hyper feeding mode the last week and . . ................................. we took him to the doctor on Tuesday and................................. he was 16 lbs 4 oz- back on the charts at 4th %! Woo Hoo!

He actually looks really healthy and proportional, considering his weight, maybe it has to do that his head is only in the 5% as well.

What can we say he is just our little guy. :)

So emma was the same EXACT way and she is fine, still just a little person. The doctor always had us coming to get her weighed. halie is also in the very small range but now the doctor just knows thats just the way we are, I wouldn't worry about it too much. As long as he is eating, babies won't starve themselves or eat too much. Don't stress!
