Happy to be a Mom!

I love this thought from President David O. McKay

"She, who can paint a masterpiece or write a book that will influence millions -- deserves the admiration and the plaudits of man. But she who rears a family of beautiful sons and daughters, whose influence will be felt through generations to come, long after paintings have faded, and books have been destroyed she deserves the highest honor that man can give, and the choicest blessings of God. In her high duty and service to humanity, she is co-partner with the Creator himself."

November at our New House

So this is the outside of our house, I was never able to get that picture on here. Here it is, it is light sage/mint green with black shudders. We love it. Thanks mom and dad!

November at our New House

So over night all of the leaves on our two huge trees in the front yard decided to fall. They add a splash of color to the yard don't you think?

Our New House!

We love our new house. We didn't get an outside picture, but here is the inside! We have a cozy family room, with a kitchen off to one side- we went for a "french riviera theme" and then there is a little laundry room and Chad's Bedroom off the back (Devin's Brother lives with us- He's so fun!)
Then on the other half is our bedroom- which is great! We love it. The study, which had Devin's Desk and my sewing marchine and scrapbooking, this room will eventually be a cute nursey, and then there's a guest room. Which is all decorated in purples and flowers.
Oh and who can forget the bomb shelter downstairs its a dream!
We have a cute yard. The house is sage green with black shudders.
We are 1/2 block from Kiwanis Park and 3 blocks from campus- which is really the best part!

My parents and Devin's parents came up the past few weekends to help us get settled in! Thanks guys! We love you!

For Devin's 26th B-Day we went Shopping with chad and got some awesome outfits and then had ribs at Goodwood

Hanging out with old friends. Kaleb came into town so we went to Fro-Yo with Andrea and Emily.

In August we went up and saw Tami and Derrek, some friends form High School. We loved hanging out with them for the weekend. We went to the fair, so fun!

Matt and Corrine just left for school in Memphis! Matt and Devin were missions buddies. Before they left we got to see them and there new baby Haley.

Red Fish Lake

We went up to Red Fish Lake with my family just before school started and had a great time! Cruizer the dog came with us!

Lake Powell

In July we went to Lake Powell with the Wagstaff Gang. We had a great time surfing, eating, climbing and hanging out together. Some of these kids are amazing. Here are Threse and Brittany surfing with their babies TJ and Emma at the same time, yep we like them!

Golfing at Pebble Beach!

We would like to say we went golfing at Pebble Beach, but since it was a little over our budget we just went and putted on the marketplace green. Which was almost as good!

This is a famous golfing picture- don't quite remember the name or artist.

Carmel Trip with the Taggarts

In June we spent the day with the Taggarts in Carmel. We had a great time. We love spending time with these two!

We went to this amazing place for breakfast! It was sooo good.
