Happy to be a Mom!

I love this thought from President David O. McKay

"She, who can paint a masterpiece or write a book that will influence millions -- deserves the admiration and the plaudits of man. But she who rears a family of beautiful sons and daughters, whose influence will be felt through generations to come, long after paintings have faded, and books have been destroyed she deserves the highest honor that man can give, and the choicest blessings of God. In her high duty and service to humanity, she is co-partner with the Creator himself."

Our New House!

We love our new house. We didn't get an outside picture, but here is the inside! We have a cozy family room, with a kitchen off to one side- we went for a "french riviera theme" and then there is a little laundry room and Chad's Bedroom off the back (Devin's Brother lives with us- He's so fun!)
Then on the other half is our bedroom- which is great! We love it. The study, which had Devin's Desk and my sewing marchine and scrapbooking, this room will eventually be a cute nursey, and then there's a guest room. Which is all decorated in purples and flowers.
Oh and who can forget the bomb shelter downstairs its a dream!
We have a cute yard. The house is sage green with black shudders.
We are 1/2 block from Kiwanis Park and 3 blocks from campus- which is really the best part!

My parents and Devin's parents came up the past few weekends to help us get settled in! Thanks guys! We love you!
