Happy to be a Mom!

I love this thought from President David O. McKay

"She, who can paint a masterpiece or write a book that will influence millions -- deserves the admiration and the plaudits of man. But she who rears a family of beautiful sons and daughters, whose influence will be felt through generations to come, long after paintings have faded, and books have been destroyed she deserves the highest honor that man can give, and the choicest blessings of God. In her high duty and service to humanity, she is co-partner with the Creator himself."

Bath Time with Friends

Nothing Better than hanging out in the tub with friends, huh? At least if you are a baby or the tub is a jacuzzi.

Spencer and Lance had a blast hanging out. Although Spencer was not so sure about this Splashing thing that Lance was introducing him too.

Lance splashed so hard he got some in his eyes.

Here is mom to ruin the fun, but at least she keeps me warm!

Snow

Over the weekend we went up and stayed at Devin's Uncle's Cabin. We went up Friday night, played some games, watched some movies, and then saturday we went Skiing.

We met some friends (Taggarts) up there and the boys, Devin and Spencer went speed Skiing in the morning (according to Devin, Spencer and him could make it down the mountain in 1.5 minutes). In the afternoon we took turns as couples going skiing while the other couple watched the kids. So Fun.
Peter had his cousin Hayden come with us, But according to this picture, this could be anyone. Are you sure this is Hayden? :)

We had a blast, it was the first time I had been skiing in 4 years adn needless to say I was super rusty.

Thanks Denny and Alyce for letting us stay, you are the best!!!

Jump On It!

My Friend Ashley Harrison invited Spencer and I to go to Jump on It (a room full of Trampolines) to celebrate her son's Benjamin's one year old Birthday. Spencer got really excited about the green foam ball.

Look at Me, I'm so Cute!

Spencer loves to look in the mirror. I recently found a book at the library and each page has a little mirror on it, it is his new favorite!

Crazy Ideas.

Two posts in a row from Devin! It's a record.

I love Naomi.

Surprise, Devin is posting on the blog! I just wanted to say how much I love my wife for all that she does for our family. It's amazing how much more I appreciate what she does now that Spencer is a part of our family. I'm grateful that she is always there to play with him, love him, and care for him. While I know that my role is equally important, sometimes I'm a little jealous of playing on the floor all afternoon and taking care of the house. (though her job is more difficult and demanding than mine.) I just wanted to say how much I love Naomi and tell you how great I think she is. You probably know this if you follow our blog, but she is definitely the better half.

Love you mostest bestest.

Bishopric

A year ago (last November) we recieved a call from a Bishop Jamison asking us to come over and meet him, Devin then was called by the Stake President two days later where he called Devin into a Single's Ward Bishopric. This is normally a 3 year calling for the Bishop and Counselors unless you are a Student Counselor (aka Devin) which it is then normally a one year calling.

So last Sunday (a year and 6 weeks later) Devin was released from the Bishopric. We had a great testimony meeting where we got to share our feelings about the past year. We are very greatful for the opportunity this service has been, and all the friendships weve made and the leadership opportunities Devin has had.

We look forward to being in the Married Student Ward with many of our friends again, but of course we are sad to be leaving the close friendships that we had in the Single's Ward.

It was a great year, Thanks everyone for your love and support.
