Happy to be a Mom!

I love this thought from President David O. McKay

"She, who can paint a masterpiece or write a book that will influence millions -- deserves the admiration and the plaudits of man. But she who rears a family of beautiful sons and daughters, whose influence will be felt through generations to come, long after paintings have faded, and books have been destroyed she deserves the highest honor that man can give, and the choicest blessings of God. In her high duty and service to humanity, she is co-partner with the Creator himself."

General Conference

We had lots of guests for General Conference Weekend. My Cousin Sharon and Friend Lori came up Friday morning after driving all night long from Fresno. We had breakfast and they crashed for a bit and then we went out for lunch. Thanks for visiting! So fun to see family!

Spencer has 4 cute little teeth these days- and is still our smily boySpencer is crawling like crazy and learning how to pull himself up on furniture, however he is not walking, just stands. If you try to help him walk he either starts jumping or sits down. Oh well he will figure it out soon.
Devin's Parents also came into to town for the weekend. It is always so fun to have Nana and Grandpa visit. We all hung out friday and then went out for dinner with Chad and Amanda (Chad's Fiance') for Amanda's Graduation. Saturday we watched General Conference and the boys went to priesthood. Nana, spencer and me went shopping and found amazing deals on Sweaters at Macey's! Thanks Nana. Sunday we went to Gma Zoom's house for an Easter Egg Dinner. So fun

So here is a new twist on Dying Easter Eggs- its called Silk Tie Dye! You take your Eggs wrap them in Silk Fabric (your husband's old ties work well) and then you wrap them in Cotton like an old t-shirt and then you twist the top and boil for 20 minutes and Walaaa!
