Happy to be a Mom!

I love this thought from President David O. McKay

"She, who can paint a masterpiece or write a book that will influence millions -- deserves the admiration and the plaudits of man. But she who rears a family of beautiful sons and daughters, whose influence will be felt through generations to come, long after paintings have faded, and books have been destroyed she deserves the highest honor that man can give, and the choicest blessings of God. In her high duty and service to humanity, she is co-partner with the Creator himself."

Hong Kong

ON the way to America we sat in the Hong Kong Airport for 6 hours waiting for a flight everything was delayed due to the Tsunamai and there were 5 million people in the airport- probably not an exaggeration. The floor space that the kids were on was litterally the only spot we could find.

On the way home, we were also delayed about 5 hours, instead of waiting in the airport at 9pm at night we left the airport and wen to Victoria Peak and then rode the Start Ferry. We were all exhausted and tired. But we would have been in the airport or out in Hong Kong so we figured in case we never get back we can say that we saw it (although Devin has been there twice)

 The view from Victoria Peak

On the star ferry- like I said in after a 13 hour flight and it is like 11pm at night. . . Not the greatest of times to go. . . but we went, saw, conquered

It is a really neat city to see, hope we get to go back for the real thing.
