Happy to be a Mom!

I love this thought from President David O. McKay

"She, who can paint a masterpiece or write a book that will influence millions -- deserves the admiration and the plaudits of man. But she who rears a family of beautiful sons and daughters, whose influence will be felt through generations to come, long after paintings have faded, and books have been destroyed she deserves the highest honor that man can give, and the choicest blessings of God. In her high duty and service to humanity, she is co-partner with the Creator himself."

Spencer's Pirate Birthday Party

Spencer Turned 3 a few weeks ago and we had an awesome Pirate Birthday Party! Thanks for everyone who came! At the end of the party my dad who was dressed as a pirate took the kids on a treasure hunt (walk 50 paces this way . . . ) and found a tresure chest shaped pinata, which had Gold Coins in it. It was a big hit!

With Grandma! Grandpa, Katie and Grandma all came down for the weekend and got tocome for the weekend.

Blowing out the candle!

We had Rootbeer and Dry Ice : Buckineer Beer
Playing on the Pirate Ship
Marianne had a great time too.
Pirate "X Marks the Spot" Cup Cakes
With Grandpa testing the food!
We named all of the food pirate names, Pretzle Sticks: Wooden Legs, Gold Fish: Shark Bait, Olives: Cannon Balls, Carrots: Spy Glasses, Doritos: Sails, and Pasta Salad: Scalywag Sea Shell Salad! So fun!
