Happy to be a Mom!

I love this thought from President David O. McKay

"She, who can paint a masterpiece or write a book that will influence millions -- deserves the admiration and the plaudits of man. But she who rears a family of beautiful sons and daughters, whose influence will be felt through generations to come, long after paintings have faded, and books have been destroyed she deserves the highest honor that man can give, and the choicest blessings of God. In her high duty and service to humanity, she is co-partner with the Creator himself."

Surprise Baby Shower!

My cute friends threw me a surprise baby shower yesterday. I thought I was on my way to a "jewlery" party (something like a tupperware party?) and instead I got a wonderful baby shower with lots of our wonderful friends. They went all out with flowers, streamers, balloons, and wonderful foods and desserts. And of course lots of PINK PINK PINK!
f
They bought us this beautiful bassinet, which we desparetly needed, it fits great into our small space here.
Laura and Donnarae thanks for coming!!
The very animated Cristina, who is an amazing party planner, you can see the wonderful food and goodies in the back including one fudge filled chocolate cake and one strawberry cream filled vanilla cake make by of course Elise who is an amazing cook!
More friends, thanks so much to everyone who came and even those who wern't able to for thinking about us. We are so blessed to have such great friends this year. What a nice surprise!!!
