Happy to be a Mom!

I love this thought from President David O. McKay

"She, who can paint a masterpiece or write a book that will influence millions -- deserves the admiration and the plaudits of man. But she who rears a family of beautiful sons and daughters, whose influence will be felt through generations to come, long after paintings have faded, and books have been destroyed she deserves the highest honor that man can give, and the choicest blessings of God. In her high duty and service to humanity, she is co-partner with the Creator himself."

Twin Falls Weekend

My mom was out of town for the weekend and my dad was on-call and Peter had Monday and Tuesday off of school. So peter, spencer, and I drove up to hang out with my sister Katie for the weekend. We had a great time. Here is our happy little traveler.

On Sunday I decide to go back a few years and borrowed clothes from my 15 year old sister- I am very pleased to say I can fit into most of them. She straightened my hair, added a samll bow and loaned me her turquoise high heels. We were babes! We both looked 16 at least!!! I have to say I felt slightly silly at church, but it was fun!

My best friends from high school have all stayed or migrated back to twin, so it was so fun to have a party with Lisa, Brian, and Heidi and her new Boyfriend Danny- and his two kids Sabrina, and Lucas. We pulled out the box of dress up clothes from the basement (for the 5 year old of course) but we all couldn't help climbing in some costumes our selves. As you can see we have quite the variety of outfits.

My mom has a new dog named Salty, Peter loves him. Spencer got used to him, he was ever so surprised when he was playing with his toys on the floor with me and Salty came up and gave him a big wet kiss! The rest of the weekend whenever he saw salty his face would get all squinted up like he was preparing to be licked again. It was pretty funny!
