This is Spencer's new face. When I go to feed him, he open's his mouth as wide as he can and clothes his eyes. So funny.
So I never thought I would eat out for Thanksgiving dinner. But we heard Notre Dame puts on an amazing Thanksgiving feast for $5.00 a person and we decided to try it. We went with some of our close friends and had an wonderful meal. There were bouquets of flowers and tablecloths and plates. They had tables of desserts and breads and turnkey with all the trimmings. Really it was wonderful. Not quite the same as being with Family, but if you can't have family this wasn't bad.On Saturday we made our way to Kokomo Indiana, (we passed the cities of Miami, Mexico, and Peru all in Indiana to get there). We met up with an old friend and his wife and daughter. Devin and Mike were roommates in Spain so we were all great friends. It was great to see you Mike.

Thanksgiving
Girl Clothes
A girl in the village just brought us over 20 onsies and 20 sleepers all 0-3 months for a little girl, people are so nice here. Naomi was soooo excited to go through them and have a whole pile of pink and a whole pile of purple clothes! Yea for little girls.
Having fun
Spencer being a boy just loves to throw balls, we used to play iwth a bunch of golf balls Devin had hanging around. However he is getting such a good arm, we have to hide those ones and just use tennis or toy balls.

New Moon
Yep I just have to post about it too. I went with a gaggle of girls last night to see New Moon. Which is really the only way to do it, I mean how can you be in love with Edward, and Jacaob and then Edward again and with your husband sitting next to you, really one too many men for a movie theater- so husband has to go.
Well in short words I loved it, so good, much better than twilight, Edward was much better which in my opinion wasn't very hard to do. Jacob was wonderful, Bella was lacking some major emotion, not one tear in the whole thing just 3-5 word sentences with a lot of gulps and sighs between everything. But I went to see a romantic movie and was not disappointed.
If you are interested here is a link to a small screen play that Devin and I just busted up laughing over about twilight: Enjoy:

UGANDA!!
The business school has a school grant to take 20 MBA students to Lebanon, Kenya, and Uganda to study the role of businesses in developing economies. This was what Devin studiesd in his Undergraduate Thesis so he was really excited about the project. So he applied in October but was not accepted to go, however he signed up to be the "extra" student in the class who would help with the writing and class research, and be an american contact incase they needed stuff faxed or whatever.
So Thursday night Devin comes home with a big smile and it turns out they have an extra spot, so guess who gets to go to Uganda, Africa from Dec 10-Dec 20th!?
Yep you guessed my favorite Travel Bug husband, I should have know when I met him in a foriegn country they he would be a world wide traveler.
Spencer and I are taking off to spend a few extra days in Sacramento and Fresno visiting family, so we will all be gone for a month at Christmas!

We had a fabulous Halloween starting with the Ward Truck o Treat on Tuesday and then a MBA family party on Friday and then the best of all the Village Halloween Party.
Our apartment put on the best Harvest Festival that had a horse drawn Carriage, Petting Zoo, Heated Tent, Pizza, Hot Chocolate and a Pumpkin Grotto. It was awesome. Getting ready for the carriage ride.

THE GREAT WALL OF CHINA
As you may know, Devin went to China with Notre Dame's MBA program last week. Here are some pictures from the Great Wall of China. It was definitely the highlight of the trip. The Great Wall has many different sections that tourists are allowed to visit. This particular one is slightly less touristy than some of the others, but there were still plenty of vendors, a gondola, a chairlift, and an alpine slide to help you up and down the mountain.

Until Further Notice. . . It's A
GIRL! GIRL! GIRL! GIRL! GIRL! GIRL! GIRL! GIRL! GIRL!
So our little cute person had the cord between her legs throughout the ultra sound today, (the stinker), so the tech was not very confident, but there was no sign of boy, and maybe some girl signs. So until further notice, which we hope to have another ultra sound, its a Girl!
Of course Devin being the sensible one, told me not to get too excited. Is this too excited?
Welcome Baby! We are having trouble coming up with Girl names we both like. What are your favorites? The Chocolate Factory
This week our MBA playgroup went on a tour of the South Bend Chocolate Factory. So Fun!
They had this poster of "I Love Lucy" that I couldn't resist taking, one of my favorite episodes.
The kids had to wear these nice nets on their hair. Which Spencer kept taking off.
