Happy to be a Mom!

I love this thought from President David O. McKay

"She, who can paint a masterpiece or write a book that will influence millions -- deserves the admiration and the plaudits of man. But she who rears a family of beautiful sons and daughters, whose influence will be felt through generations to come, long after paintings have faded, and books have been destroyed she deserves the highest honor that man can give, and the choicest blessings of God. In her high duty and service to humanity, she is co-partner with the Creator himself."

No Teeth

"Mom, don't talk to her, she doesn't have any teeff!"~ Marianne

We are doing good, adjusting a little at a time. Marianne is definitly the hardest, just wanting lots and lots of mommy time. But both kids seem to love there little sister. They will hold her for about a minute and then state very decidedly "ok I'm done" and get up and go play.

Multiple Princess Personality Disorder

Marianne is a different princess multiple tiems everyday. I have not called her Marianne for weeks, if I do she corrects to whatever princess name she wishes to be called, Belle, Princess Jasmine, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Tangled, Repunsel, . . .Ect. . .

Her favorite game right now includes a 2 minute game where she pricks her finger on the spinning wheel, lays down with her eyes closed and waits for her prince to come and Kiss her. Interesting what things we learn from Princesses isn't ?

Grandpa was a very faithful and loyal prince during the week he was here.

 Now I am awake
 I am waiting

 Her prince has come.
Then she makes her bed, so she can do it again.
Spencer is a pretty good prince for a brother. Since Grandpa is gone, Daddy is now our favorite prince.

Spencer's school and Visit from Grandparents

Spencer is attending White Lodge Preschool three days a week and is loving it.
 They have a trampoline!

 And a playhouse
We went and saw the Latern Festival Celebration at his school. The kids put on a song and play
Here we are carrying our Lantern's and looking for the Lady in teh moon.

My parents came at the beginning of December.  My dad was here for a week and we went and saw all the sights of Singapore. We went to China town first and had dinner
We also had Snow Ice for dessert.
Sunday we went to the Chinese Garden's and saw the festival.
Here I am 35 weeks pregnant.

 Enjoying the warm evening.
Next we went and saw the Super Grove Trees down by the Marian Bay Sands.

Juliette Mei-Lynn

Juliette Mei-Lynn Wagstaff was born 3 weeks early, 37 weeks, on October 15, 2012
At 9:57am, Monday morning. Interestingly enough all three of our kids have been  born on Mondays. She was 5 lbs 12 oz, or 2.6 kg and 18 inches long.

I started having baby contractions Sunday night about midnight and thought to myself "no way" but as with the last two once my body starts going into labor it doesn't stop, I woke up Devin about an hour later saying we should probably pack our hospital bag just in case they didn't stop, about 2:30 I had a couple harder ones so we called a taxi and left grandma with the kids.
I only had one contraction on the way there and thought this is going to be lame if they send me home, but they didn't instead they put me straight into a bed and a gown, I was dilated to maybe a two so they decided to let me stay- especially when I said Marianne labor was only 5.5 hours start to finish.

So we hung out for a bit waiting, about 5 am the contractions were getting harder and more frequent
I requested the epidural wanting to have plenty of time to get it - since it did not work with Marianne and that was an experience I sure didnt want to repeat.

The anethesialogist was great- except they maid Devin leave my room to give it to me- which I was mad about- seriously he can be there for the delivery but not for the epidural go figure, anyway it worked and it was great timing just after about 7am my contractions started coming every few minutes- I couldn't feel them at all yea!
Doctor checked me at 8 and I was a 4 and said well this will probably be slow and he would be back about noon, before he left he broke my water. I thought well maybe.  About 9:15 am I was feeling a lot of pressure and really uncomfortable, I called the nurse to see if she could raise the epidural up, she checked me - not only was I at a 10 but crowning as well, they raised the epidural which kicked in a bit more.

The Doctor came in and we had Juliette out in about 3 pushes.

She weighs 5 lbs 12 oz and is 18 inches long. She is a tiny little thing, we can't get over how little she looks compared to Marianne and Spencer. She is just cute as a button though
