Happy to be a Mom!

I love this thought from President David O. McKay

"She, who can paint a masterpiece or write a book that will influence millions -- deserves the admiration and the plaudits of man. But she who rears a family of beautiful sons and daughters, whose influence will be felt through generations to come, long after paintings have faded, and books have been destroyed she deserves the highest honor that man can give, and the choicest blessings of God. In her high duty and service to humanity, she is co-partner with the Creator himself."

Halloween at the Law School

It has turned fall, we have our costumes ready. Today we went to the Law Schol for the Law School Halloween Party. They have a huge turn out every year. All of the law students bring their families dress up, have a costume parade and then trick or treat in the students Carrolls.
Spencer and Daddy were matching Bats Marianne is a Notre Dame Cheerleader
Evie is a Pumpkin. I called Evie a Pumpkin Poo, and in the car on the way to the Law School Evie was fussing and Spencer yells out from the back seat. Mama, Pumpkin Poo is crying.
Walking in their costumes across the stage for the parade
This is our view outside our front door, gorgeous
Marianne is taking a bath in the sink to help with her Diaper Rash
Look at this cute chubby face, I had just finished her pom pom hair bows for her halloween costume. These are sooo easy to make, you wrap ribbon around a dowle and then bake it at 275 for 25 min. Thats it.

Here is a video of Spencer and Marianne Trick or Treating in the Carrolls

Evie

My Darling friend Michelle and Freshmen year roommate went on a company paid for cruise (so great) with her husband and left her three oldest kids Kimberly (4), Asher (3) and Oliver (2) with Grandma who lives in American Fork. She left Evie (2 months) with Me. So we are having a blast with this little Pumpkin Poo, she has red hair and is as cute as a button. Marianne is enchanted with her. Its like a doll that moves

Boise Cousins and Missions

Two weeks ago we drove up to Boise for a joint Homecoming and Farewell of Devin's Cousins.
With Chase who just returned from Fort Worth Peter's Mission, These two brothers were home for a month together. I love Brittany's face in the back ground.
With Drew who is leaving for New Mexico Indian Territory.

Pumpkin Patch

In Mid- October we went to a Pumpkin Patch, it was great, it had a corn maze and lots of activities for kids including bounce houses, playground, and large houses made of different things like Straw (it was decorated with the three little pigs). Spencer picked out a pumpkin and we carved it for FHE. We had the Abbotts and Aunt Darlene over for FHE so we could join in the festivities together.
