Happy to be a Mom!

I love this thought from President David O. McKay

"She, who can paint a masterpiece or write a book that will influence millions -- deserves the admiration and the plaudits of man. But she who rears a family of beautiful sons and daughters, whose influence will be felt through generations to come, long after paintings have faded, and books have been destroyed she deserves the highest honor that man can give, and the choicest blessings of God. In her high duty and service to humanity, she is co-partner with the Creator himself."

Spencer "Fro'hawk" Wagstaff

So, we got a little carried away with the hair gel and decided to see just how much hair Spencer has. As you can see, he has enough for a small fro' hawk. It's not perfectly captured in the pictures, but he has a really sweet hairdo.

Spencer's Baby Blessing and Lagoon

We had over 41 people come to Spencer's baby blessing. It was wonderful to have so much support. The Wagstaff clan from Boise (including Schicks and Murrays, but missing the Coopers) were on their way to lake powell, so it worked out perfectly to have the blessing on the 22nd. Anyway, here are the pictures, which is all anybody wants anymore.

Here's the whole gang.
Here's five generations on Devin's Mom's side of the family.
Four Generations of Wendell's.
Here is all of Devin's immediate family. Jerrin and Jessica were up in Utah for the week. Jerrin had to leave for jury duty. Sadly, he never had to serve, but he had to be at home, "just in case".

Naomi's family came down from Twin Falls. Of course Cruizer came down too and is in the family picture. He's the luckiest dog I know.

We went to Lagoon on Saturday with Devin's Family. Spencer rode the train and enjoyed the broadway shows. Devin loved, "WICKED" (the roller coaster, not the musical). Naomi got her fill of scariness on the tidal wave.

Ward Activities

We had a great ward activity with the singles at Rock Canyon Park. Check out this video of Devin on the Slip & Slide. It's the biggest slip & slide we've ever seen.

Here's a few more pictures of the slip & slide.

We also went to the Manti Pageant with the singles ward. We had a great time, but the mosquitos were terrible.

Marijke's wedding with all the girl cousins

The last time these two were together in April, they were both pregnant. Now Hannah and Naomi both have darling baby boys.

Happy Birthday Naomi! There's no better way to celebrate a birthday and a new baby than sharing your house with over 12 people.
We had "sunrise sacrament meeting" at the old state ampitheater. I wish the sun came up at 9 am every day.
Is your bishopric this cool?
